Christmas day coming in a few days in the year of lord 2021.

Celebrations are in order as COVID fear is easing a little after so many months.

Vaccinated people are everywhere venturing out to meet friends and celebrate.

It is time to reflect on what needs to be celebrated for Christmas 2021.

In our neighborhood,  homes are decorated with colorful decorations.

Driving around, I found, snow men of various sizes, Santa riding trains, planes, and sleighs.

Trains appear to be moving and the propellers of the plane going round and round.

One can also find reindeers, illuminated gift boxes, candy canes, even a skeleton with holiday lights.

Halloween Skeleton being so big, takes time to dismantle, so it joins the celebration as well.

One thing very strange, there is no manger, no crib, nor any shepherds.

There is no baby Jesus, no nativity scene depicted, nor any wise men anywhere.

There are no goats or oxen, though I did notice, one house had a illuminated dog in display.

Hope the meaning of Christmas has not changed to exclude what it is really for.

Alas, Christmas cards are getting printed with family portraits with machine guns.

As for as our family, we have a wall mount that we read every day more than one time.

 “The heart of Christmas is love” hung in garage, right as you come in as a great reminder.

Our family wishes love and peace for one and everyone as we are children of same God.
